Road Ban No. 6/17
Effective: June 5, 2017 at 12:00 pm
Order by the Road Ban Committee - Effective June 5, 2017 at 12:00 pm
LETHBRIDGE COUNTY – Effective as of 12:00pm on June 5, 2017, Lethbridge County will be lifting the Road Ban Order issued on April 3, 2017, effective on seasonally banned roads within the County.
“The County has lifted seasonal road bans on all roads due to favourable weather conditions,” says Acting Reeve Henry Doeve. “Road bans will remain in place for annually banned roads as per road ban order issued June 5, 2017.”
Should conditions change, road bans may be reinstated. Up to date information and a list of annually banned roads is available on the County website at www.lethcounty.ca.
To reduce stress on roads, the County is asking all heavy haulers to drive according to road conditions, especially when operating on wet gravel roads.
If you witness any County roads being damaged, or are aware of roads with current damage, please contact the County immediately at the 24-hour Public Works Emergency line: (403) 634-0704.
