Keho Bridge Completed as Part of Lethbridge County’s “Funding Our Future” Initiative
LETHBRIDGE COUNTY- A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this morning to celebrate the completion of the Keho Bridge, located in the northwest part of Lethbridge County.
This project was completed as a part of the County’s Funding our Future initiative to improve infrastructure on the Market Access Network. Due to the age and state of repair of some roads and bridges within the County, there was a need for replacement of this bridge to keep road users safe.
“The completion of the Keho Bridge means that citizens can travel safely, producers can get their products to market efficiently, and irrigation water can pass freely through the area to reach customers,” said Reeve Lorne Hickey.
This bridge replacement was completed on schedule and on budget at a total cost of approximately $800,000, funded by the County’s Funding Our Future initiative that supports our core values and strategic vision.
Lethbridge County would like to recognize everyone involved in this very important project. Ensuring the safety and sustainability of our infrastructure and haul routes will continue to make Lethbridge County an excellent place to live and work for many years to come.
