Each year at the Calgary Stampede, farm families from across the province are presented with the BMO Bank of Montreal Farm Family Award.
The nomination period for the 2026 BMO Farm Family Award is open until September 30, 2025. Lethbridge County's Agricultural Service Board will review all submissions and select a farm family.
Criteria:
- The farm family must be active in primary agriculture, have agriculture as the main source of income, and have members residing on the farm (agribusiness is not eligible).
- The farm must be located in Lethbridge County.
- The family should be actively involved in their community, in addition to their contribution to agriculture.
