Stirling Wind Project Community Benefit Fund

Lethbridge County and Stirling Wind Project are pleased to announce and launch the new Community Benefit Fund Grant.  The grant is available to groups such as local registered charities, not-for-profits societies, organizations and associations, and schools.  

Grants are awarded for projects, events or initiatives related to the promotion of: 

  • Environmental Enhancement 
  • Social Welfare 
  • Arts and Culture 
  • Health and Wellness 
  • Education & Science 
  • Emergency Relief 

Projects could include

  • Capital projects or equipment for the enhancement of community facilities
  • Community Events 
  • Art or Education Programs 

Applications for 2026 are open.

  • Fresh Start Recovery Centre – raising awareness through their Run for Recovery
  • Friends of St. Joseph’s School – building a new basketball court
  • Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge – equipping their Food Recovery Program with a commercial-grade kitchen
  • Kinette Club of Coaldale – revitalizing Kinsmen Park with courts and playground upgrades
  • Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association – enhancing inclusivity with a new adaptive cart
